The hotel's ambience is really nice and it's decor gives it the special local feel that we were looking for. The room was very spacious (some may say furnishings are a little bit outdated, but it fits well with the over ambience). The hotel's restaurant overs very good breakfast and dinners. The team were also kind enough to prepare early full breakfast for my family when we had to leave early for a day tour. The hotel is perfectly located at the perimeter of the old City which makes it convenient and at the same time is close to the city centre. The hotel also has shuttle bus to night markets. Staff at reception was always available to help and complementary snacks at reception area were always well stocked.

The staff were excellent. Whether at breakfast, at the Canal restaurant in the evening, or at reception at anytime of the day all the staff were unfailingly helpful, friendly, courteous and engaging. We were in a Grand Deluxe King room with balcony which was very spacious, with a huge, comfy bed. I recommend paying the little extra for a larger room facing the garden, which is a little more tranquil than those directly facing the pool. The pool, by the way, adds another facet of happiness to the Rim's laid-back vibe. Breakfast was always well presented, varied and interesting, and regardless of your preferences it would be hard not to find something to one's taste.

This was a wonderful boutique hotel. It exceeded our family’s expectations. They had a welcome drink upon arrival. Wonderful butterfly blue tea. They had a craft station for adults and/or kids each afternoon for free. They had huge rooms and hotel grounds were very clean. Complimentary bug spray. and complimentary tea and dessert tower for each room for once during their stay. Just blown away by the details and kindness of the staff. They were so thoughtful and sweet. Value for price is amazing. Located in old town walls and so wonderful! Highly Reccomend and would send any friends or family to this boutique hotel.

The best hotel we’ve stayed during our 5week travel with 9 locations. incredible atmosphere, the staff is heart warming kind and caring. it’s like a little haven, rooms so spacious, very clean and well maintained. nice pool, bit cold but refreshing. great breakfast, so peaceful with its soft music and kind staff, which remembered each morning how we had our eggs, teas and coffee, restaurant is open for guests for lunch and dinner too. poolbar with wooden games and books. We really felt so welcome and taken care of, from the receptionist to waiter, from cleaners to security doorman. this place is in our hearts.

As someone with some experience with various accommodation options in Chiang Mai , this is an all-round excellent choice, particularly for the first-timer. Great location on the edge of the old city, spacious comfortable rooms, (surprisingly) excellent food, a nice swimming pool, and small fitness room. Staff incredibly friendly and efficient. It’s all done calmly and effortlessly, which makes for a very relaxing time.
